thank u Selvol but i dont want like this example , i want like the one i posted coz it contains categories, based on categoris the photos will be displayed. what i want is to organize my photo based on years.

hi everyone
can any one help me on how can i create flash photogallery with xml.i want to create such one categorized by years i.e photos for each year i .e such like this link:

if anyone can help me get tutorial on designing like this or direct me to a free downloadable template, i will be appreciated.

If you like that one, why not just buy that component? It's only $20, right? Believe me, you'll easily spend more than $20 of your time to build your own.
If you want a free one, the one offered by SElvol does have categories, they are just using a thumbnail image. If you look again, you'll notice that each picture on the main page IS a category. You could just make an image of each year and use that instead of a photo.

Then take the one that SElvol mentioned and go through it. It says that it is free. You should be able to figure out how the button on the photos is working and, instead of an image, make a text button.
I don't want any points or anything and I'm not trying to be rude. I just think you got a good answer from SElvol.
