Creating XML Mappings File From Excel Spreadsheet

Hello Experts -

I a trying to convert a simple Excel file to XML. In order to do so, apparently I must first create an XML Mappings file.

However, when I go to Data - XML - XML Source and press the XML mappings button - then press "Add" - there is no XSD file to select from. The Window is blank.

How do I create the necessary mapping reference in the Excel workbook so that I can export the file as XML?
