of course you need to bind the namespace to the prefix, preferably in the xsl:stylesheet element
xmlns:hoover="http://webse

Browse All TopicsI have an xslt document that, thanks to a poster on this site, is working pretty good now. The only problem I'm having is there is a looped bit of data that just doesn't want to read.
The xml code in question is below (just the important stuff. posting the whole thing would be overkill at this point)
This is the xsl code I currently have for this loop:
<table>
<xsl:for-each select="/GetCompanyFullWra
<tr>
<td>
<xsl:value-of select="title"/>
</td>
<td>
<xsl:value-of select="person/first-name"
</td>
</tr>
</xsl:for-each>
</table>
Once again I'm sure its some stupid thing I'm missing.

of course you need to bind the namespace to the prefix, preferably in the xsl:stylesheet element
xmlns:hoover="http://webse
for your understanding
<top-executives xmlns="http://webservice.h
sets the default namespace (the one without the prefix) to "http://webservice.hoovers
This means that every descendant of top-executives, not having a prefix, will reside in that namespace
So where would I put the <top-executives xmlns="http://webservice.h
(I don't have any control over the source xml, btw)
This is currently the xml:stylesheet tag of my page if that helps:

also the other elements are in teh namespace.
As I showed you in one of your previous questions,
it is better to use a prefix instead of using the namespace-uri() trick in every predicate
