With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? How to round up a java value

I have a real simple piece of code on a web page that calculates a user input with a fixed number to get a result.  i want to be able to round the result up to 2 decimal places.  below is the the section of code i was working with.  a calculate button runs the functions fido and puts the value of form.carbonfootprint.value in a text box called "<INPUT TYPE="int" NAME="Carbonfootprint" SIZE=35>"
