Return a pdf file from web service

we need to implement a web service in java, to return a pdf file, this service is cosumbed by siebel application
could you suggest me how to do and give me link which gives samples and explanations.

you should be able to use file stream objects.

I did this in .NET but not Java...     I think it is very similar.
