Congratulations to this year's Top Experts and all of the exceptional people that make up Experts Exchange. Without you, Experts Exchange would not be the #1 technology site in the world. While we all know seeing your name in lights on the Annual Awards page is gratifying to the ego, don't you want something a little more?
The winners of the 5th Annual Expert Awards will receive a platinum-plated trophy in the spitting image of the hard drive that recorded the first solution on Experts Exchange, back in 1996. On top of this, we have added three more awards, as we feel it is time to honor more of the sensational people that help keep our site functioning on a remarkable level!
The Closer honors those members that really know how to get you your points and do it well! There is no lollygagging when it comes to closing out their questions; they got their solution and it's time to give out the reward. This is the member with the most questions asked and closed (no admin intervention) with at least a 95% close rate.
The Titan honors the little guys, the ones that truck away in those smaller zones but never seem to get enough recognition! Well it's time to recognize those volunteers for all they do. The Titan is the Expert with the highest percentage of points within a zone with the zone having a minimum of 250,000 points.
The Ally honors the Experts that just can't help out enough! Not only do they answer questions on their own, but they also assist other experts in times of need! The Ally is the Expert with the most assist points earned throughout the year.
