EE: Where do you live?
Saint Germain en Laye, France
EE: Describe yourself in four words.
Helping people solve problems.
EE: How has technology impacted your life?
I work in IT so technology is my work.
EE: Vista or XP?
Vista, for security reasons.
EE: How do you feel about being recognized as the Expert who climbed the most member ranks during 2007?
I worked a lot on Experts Exchange during my break time, so I'm glad to hear this.
EE: Did you have any clue that you were at the top of this list?
Well, I tried to get Master in SBS and Windows 2003, but the questions were redirected to other domains, that's all.
EE: Are your sights set on the Hall of Fame, or do you just have a knack for solving problems? Is your rapid rise a conscious effort, or a happy coincidence?
Well I have tried to help as many people as I can.
EE: If you won the lottery, how would you spend your money?
That depends on the amount of the prize.
EE: What was unique about being an Expert during 2007?
I need to help people and to rest in contact with IT problems. In that way, I can improve myself.
EE: What technology were you the most excited about in 2007?
I think the Virtual Machine explosion.
EE: If you could tell everybody at Experts Exchange one thing, what would it be?
If you need help, this is the good place to ask for it.
EE: Remember the prediction that everybody would have his or her own flying car by the year 2000? What do you predict for the future of Experts Exchange? (This way, when it happens, you can tell all your friends, "I called it!")
I think Experts Exchange certifications will be recognized like Microsoft certifications or others.
EE: What advice do you have for aspiring Experts around the world?
Put yourself in the place of the person asking the question and try your best to resolve the problem.
EE: How about a shout-out to some of your favorite people at Experts Exchange?
I think for now my favourite person is Jeff (aka TechSoEasy). We've worked on many problems together and I like his professional style.
