Creating Graphs & Charts in R5

How do you create a graph in Notes R5? I want my document to have a graph. I tried doing this: Create--> Object then I chose the Microsoft Control Chart OCX which was from VB. How can I manipulate the values of the graph?

Did you give a try using Lotus components ?
You could look at DoubleSixes as well or Excel I guess.  Just stay well away from 1-2-3..........

Don't know about now, but Lotus Components used to have a bad problem with holding onto memory you used.

Also, only used to work in the ui document, think DoubleSixes allows manipulation etc via notesdocument.
With the GetObject function in Lotusscript, you should be able to create an object in Lotusscript corresponding to your embedded graph. While in the design pane in Lotusscript, there is a checkbox on the right that shows another pane. In this pane, you will find all the lotuscript language reference, all Notes classes AND OLE classes.  You should find your Microsoft component in that list, which will show you all the methods and properties to access your embedded object.
