Simulate a Post using JAVA

I want to create a Java application that would perform a Post to an ASP. For example I want to create a paging application. There are some websites that perform paging, what I want to do is to create my own application that would automatically page someone using the Paging website. This paging website is not ours. Can Java perform a Post on an ASP?
I am hoping for your help. Thanks!
