DisableControls or BlockReadSize
Hi,
Which one should i use to disable display update of controls while iterating
through records? DisableControls sense not good if you have detail records
and setting blockreadsize seems to update data aware controls(as i
experienced within my program).. I'm a little confused and looking for your
advice. I'm using ADO Express that may be some issues of it on these methods
bugs me.

I use DisableControls when I go through records and I use EnableControls when I finished

Hi,
i need master/detail relationship while iterating through because i need the detail records for using as source of a process, not to update them. so the relation ship must be maintained while scrolling master dataset. Setting BlockReadSize helps but it seems updating data-aware contols regardless of what was told in online help.
