asked on

hide window?

Hi,
I want to hide the window, on parent window.onLoad.

I have given the parameters for the child window as top=2000, left=2000. It is hiding in IE, but it is veisible to the users in Netscape.
If possible, i also want to hide the child window from the taskbar,

  Any suggestions?

If you use modal or modeless dialog in IE, it will (by default) not appear on Windows taskbar. Netscape protection confines the window to desktop. But you can switch focus back to the opener window, so that the new window will be hidden from sight (at least for a while)

P.S.  For year 2000 question, special attention is needed to ensure the first correct response is awarded, since they are not in the comment date order, but rather in Member ID order.
