free commercial counter

hi there,

hope you all are doing fine. I have a question for you: I'm looking for a free webpage counter. I have to put it on a commercial page that I'm developing. I know that I can get a free counter, but they are not for commercial use. The counter is merely for testing purposes (just to know howmany hits).

Does anyone knows where I can subscribe to a free commercial counter? Without adds ofcourse...

Why not just create your own? What does your host support? If i were developing a commercial site, i would definetly use my own, rather than hosted.. it just looks bad =)

If all you want is a page counter and you want to host your own counter rather than rely upon a third party then your best option would be a PHP script. You coan find an assortment of scripts here:

If you are developing your site with FrontPage then there is a built in counter option within the program I believe. You will need FP extensions on your end server to operate it of course.
