Put Image and Text from Delphi into new word 2000 Doc

Hi! I would like to write a small application which generates an bar code and puts this into word. also an adress must be inserted into the document. the application must define a special filename for the document so that i only must click "save" after editing.

--> start my app
--> choose what i want
--> start word and generate new document xxx.doc
--> insert barcode
--> insert text

i got everything (barcode + database connection) but how do i control word ? small sample would be nice. I think the keyword is DDE but I never worked with that before.

The import and such into word is fairly easy and was fully covered in a couple of questions in the last couple of weeks, look them up.

I did some barcode stuff, and it is NOT WORTH trying to create them manually. There are libraries, plug-ins, and components available for them. Pick one suited to what you need and your budget.
