How can I zero-out all my Outlook settings and start from scratch (to avoid a Send/Receive error I am having)

How can I zero-out all my Outlook settings and start from scratch (to avoid a Send/Receive error I am having)?

details:
I used the windows xp migration tool (File and settings transfer wizard) to xfer my Outlook settings from my office PC to my home PC (both run Windows XP pro and Office XP).

After I did the restore on the home end everything worked great.

THEN...
One day Outlook seemed to get corrupted, so I deleted all my PST files and ran the wizard to restore again.

Now all my IMAP accouts are duplictaed in the folder list, and the check mail command (send/recieve) returns a error of:

The operation failed due to a registry error.

My question is:

How can I zero-out all my Outlook settings and start from scratch?

Thanks in advance,

I would suggest a Repair on OfficeXP.  It should be under Start-Settings-Add/Remove-OfficeXP-Repair.

Problem Re-Clarification:

I am using Outlook XP (not Outlook Express).

No luck with these tactics:
-I tried repairing Outlook
-I tried the System File Checker tool

Problem Re-Clarification:
-I have Outlook XP with several IMAP accounts.  The IMAP accts work fine if you just open IMAP folders in the Folder List.
-I decided not to uninstall everything, not to delete all my accts, and not to zero all the settings.
- I still get the following error message when clicking on the Send/Receive button:

“The operation failed due to a registry or Installation problem.  Restart Outlook and try again.  If the problem persists, please reinstall.”

I already did a repair, isn't that like a reinstall.

sherpaij: i've posted a question in the community support area to get this question re-opened and your points refunded since create a new outlook profile didn't help.

outside of that, what operating system are you running?
