AmeriNote PII 333Mhz/32Ram very crashy
AmeriNote PII 333Mhz/32Ram very crashy. Getting a variety of errors forcing shutdown within 30 minutes of startup. Reinstalled Windows without change. Have removed most TSRs, Virus, backup, etc. Formatted, defragged (in safe mode, etc).
Tech person at CompUSA once told me they had a lot of problems with some of the AmeriNotes, and that the problem was ______. I don't remember what he told me and can't find anyone else who knows.
Does anyone know if there was a fix for this?

Agree with magarity, it sounds like heat.\\
Open the box up and have a big fan blowing into the guts of it, preferably around the CPU. Run the computer. If it doesn't die then you have a heat problem.

Just got back from a trip. Will try the big fan approach after cooling the entire unit down first (for maximum effect). Will try a heat check utility also.

Has not solved the problem, but seems like excellent advice.
