I have got one Apple Macintosh G3 Machine (OS 8.6). &nbsp;We were using &nbsp;Iomega Jazz &nbsp;2GB media drive for backing up of our data &nbsp;(SCSI). &nbsp;From the Jazz we used to back up files to a SCSI CD-RW.<br />
<br />
We have a faulty Jazz drive/media hence we are not able to take back up onto CD-RW. Our question is whether we would be able to write our back ups directly to the CD-RW or do we need an intermediate?<br />

Hi all,

Writing on to a CD -RW from Mac OS 8.6 Directly , is it possible ?

All of Apple's hardware is produced solely by Apple Inc., who determines internal systems, designs, and prices. Apple buys certain components wholesale from third-party manufacturers. The current Mac product family uses Intel x86-64 processors. All Mac models ship with at least 1 GB RAM as standard. Current Mac computers use ATI Radeon or nVidia GeForce graphics cards and include a dual-function DVD and CD burner, called the SuperDrive.
