script doesn't seem to work when scheduled

I've got a script that runs
/usr/bin/lynx -source "http://localhost/php/dataload.php3" which I intend to schedule to run using crontab.

When I run the script at the command prompt, it works and data is loaded into tables as intended. However, when I schedule the script to run, /usr/bin/lynx -source "http://localhost/php/dataload.php3" doesn't seem to work.

Any idea what could have gone wrong?

Thanks

How do you have PHP compiled? As Module or CGI.

If module that is your problem, you can not run php scripts through cron if php is compiled as module.

If as CGI, well I am not sure off hand.

I've run the cronjob on another machine before. It runs fine.

I don't know if it has anything to do with this:-
This was in the email sent to the username after the cronjob is run.

Your terminal lacks the ability to clear the screen or position the cursor.

I don't get to see this in the email from the other machine that runs the cronjob fine.

If you elect for option 2, 3 or 4, just post comment with details here and I'll take it from there.  We also request that you review any other open questions you might have and update/close them.  Display all your question history from your Member Profile to view details.

PLEASE DO NOT AWARD THE POINTS TO ME.
