How do you encrypt a text string, in other words, what i'm trying to do is take a password over a network, and hide it from other users, what i've done is created a databse, asked the user for a password, and i want to encrypt it for security reasons, is there a way i can go about this.

Encrypting a Text String

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model.
