Forms not drawing correctly MDI app

Hi,

I have a MDI application.
The mdi mother form load event loads about 8 mdi child forms useing

load form1
load form2

some of the MDI child forms have a bit of code in their load events.

The problem is:

9 time out of 10 the forms load with now problems.
But occasionally the forms don't  seem to get painted/drawn correctly. They get half drawn. Then when you mimimize then restore the MID mother all redraws correctly.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this may be happening?

Any help greatly appericated.Thanks

MN

Try replacing

Load FormX

with

FormX.Show
Try doing on of the following two things.

1. Use FormX.Show instead of Load FormX.
2. Go to FromX property and turn on the Autoredaw property.
3. in FormX Activate Event put the following code. Me.Refresh (This Activate Event get triggered after form load event, so your form will be fixed.)

This option 3 does not work just type Doevents after Me.refresh line in FormX Activate event

Doevents will force windows to execute any event that in the buffer. Looks like the redraw event is not executing properly.

I hope this helps:)
Another sugestion would be to put in a DoEvents in between the code.  For example

Form1.show
  DoEvents
Form2.Show
  DoEvents
Form3.show

Hope this helps...
