Run-time error 713

I developed a system that generates reports using Crystal Reports 6. It already worked well with the first PCs where I installed it but there are some PCs where it won't generate reports. I've tried creating a new package but it still won't work well. When I try to generate the reports I get the error message :

     Run-time error 713
     Application-defined or object-defined error

How do I fix this problem. I'll wait for your PROMPT response. Thanks.

Hi vbjohn, Need to read the section on EE, on "Comments and Answers". Please do not lock any question by proposing an answer unless you are very sure that that is the one and only answer and no other answers possible.

Otherwise, better, give it as a comment and the questioner can choose yours as answer if he finds it so. Also others can give comments, if you dont lock the question.

Cheers.

valli an, sorry but it still wouldn't work. I still get the same error. Thanks anyway.
Did you check out all the DLLs listed there, if included in your package.

And regarding the 2nd link, you might need to check if you have the typical versions of ver 8.0, if present in ver 6.0 and you could use those versions of DLLs instead of the ones listed for CR8 there.

Just check your Setup Package, if you have included all those DLLs.

Is your ODBC etc. are setup correctly?

What version of Internet Explorer is your other PC got? If needed you would try to have atleast ver 4.0 of IE.

Cheers.

Maybe I will never give me opinion anymore.....
vbjohn, not to worry about that. Just post comments if you think it  could help the questioner.. but not as an answer..

You will find yourself learning a lot .. and you pass time too in the long run... :)

Cheers.
