Open & explorer greyed
When I right click on start(bottom left) the Open and Explorer are greyed out, I have to go thru Windows to open them, I suspect that i installed Tweak ui and that it is the culpit some how, I restore my register to before installing , did'nt change anything. Can someone help ? Also in the menu I see an item : open with iphoto plus Explorer. No such program on my computer. How to remove ? Jaro

Thank you, it worked perfectly for the first item, the other one, nodice, but it don't seem to cause any problem. I though that it was the fact that caused the greyed items.

Prune Your Context Menus

Windows Explorer's context menus can be very handy. Right-click on a file or selected group of files, and you get a menu of commands relevant to your selection. As you install more programs, however, these menus can become cluttered with commands you seldom use. Explorer's View | Options | File Types mechanism provides only limited control over your context menus. This issue's utility, ContextEdit, offers much more.
The items on a context menu come from one of two places: shell commands stored within the system Registry, or context menu handlers. The type of technology used to add the command is generally transparent to the end user, butdoes make a difference. Windows Explorer lets you add or remove Registry-based shell commands, but provides no control at all over context menu handlers. ContextEdit lets you control both types of context menu items and adds other features as well. It lets you disable context menu items without removing them. You can also add shell commands to all files regardless of type, or to files without associated programs. ContextEdit also gives you access to Windows 3.x-style file associations, and it can repair certain types of file association errors.
