Professional Background
QA Engineer
Experts Exchange
March 2012 – Present
San Luis Obispo
Assuring that applied code and content changes do not break or change critical site functionality for both existing and pending products. This involves making sure the HTML, java, CSS and SQL are all working together to produce a neat, efficient and intuitive site environment. Most of these processes revolve around SEO, Billing functionality, Q&A functionality, Email triggers and content, Regression Procedures, file hosting and many others.
Customer Support
Pacific Coast Pharmacy
April 2011 – March 2012
San Luis Obispo
I handled a list of over 200 patients that relied on me to ensure that supplies critical to their well-being fit within medi-care regulations and that they were shipped and received on time. If ever a customer experienced any problems with an order or needed help gathering the info necessary for medi-care to approve their supply I was the mediator. I quality controlled thousands of medi-care documents for accuracy while also creating new patient intake profiles to their high standards. I started off on the Sales team and quickly became the top producer, as my efficiency continued to increase I was placed on the Customer Support department. I also helped train new employees for both teams.
Team Lead Enumerator
U.S. Census Bureau
January 2010 – July 2010
San Luis Obispo, CA
To start I took lead on the hardest job the Census has to offer, enumeration of the transient population. Over a 2 month period I and a team of 4 went to the known homeless camps in the county to collect Census info on those who were inhabiting. As normally the inhabitants were only there to sleep, we worked multiple days from 1am to 5am to make sure we were getting an accurate count. If the job wasn't already walking on thin ice, we also had to wake these people and ask for their personal info. After this job I was asked to continue on the group housing project where I went on my own to various medical facilities, homes for the mentally disabled, homeless shelters and even a monastery to count the people not living in standard housing. After this I was asked to join another team in collecting information from those in standard housing that either neglected or refused to return the census forms that were mailed to them months prior. Of this team I returned the highest volume of delinquent forms. Forms for all 3 projects were upheld to very high standards of accuracy.
Customer Service & Support
USA Referral Network
Paso Robles, CA
Made calls to leads generated by ads and converted them into product sales. This job required upselling, data entry, handling sensitive information and communication skills. At times this also entailed troubleshooting any issues a customer may have had with a service we offered. As one of the higher producing representatives I also helped train new hires.
