How can I pre-select a view type of Thumbnails (or Details, etc.) when I use the Common Controls GetOpenFileName or GetSaveFileName API calls?
This question comes up occasionally here at Experts-Exchange and even a Google search will turn up lots of "answers" that say "It can't be done!" True, there is no API to control these things, but with a bit of spelunking with Spy++ and some trial-and-error hacking around, I found that it is possible. How to extract the music from an iPod with freeware.
Freeware Not for iTouch or iPhone only works under Windows.
Sadly, newer versions of iDump are no longer free. For newer and more powerful versions, please follow this link for all your iDump needs www.escsoft.com or you can do a web search to find it.

We have a project in Final Cut Pro which we want to export to FLV for use on our website. Currently we have tried exporting as .mov and converting it using SeaSky Video Converter but the sound is way out of sync.

I dont want it to remain on my email. What is the best way to do this? Is there a cloud service or are there any built in iphone features that will allow for this?

Search for Office in the App Store and see what grabs you.

Question: Filemaker 5.5 would connect to a FMP 5 server when the computer was running Leopard.
I had to upgrade the computer to Lion. FMP 5.5 wouldn't run anymore, so I downloaded the demo of FMP 11. This version can't connect to the office's FMP 5 server.
I don't know if the 11 is incompatible with 5.5, or if there is another protocol that …
Answer: The most recent version of FileMaker that will connect to FM Server 5.5 is FileMaker Pro 6 and neither of those can run under Lion which no longer supports Power PC based code.
In general, .fp5 databases will convert and be openable in later versions of FileMaker, alb…
