fujitsu/siemens xp driver for disk controller

I bought an amilo with vista home premium preinstalled and want to change now to xp. With the original xp installation cd the harddisk was not found. I didnt found xp-drivers for this computer in the web. I am looking for a workaround to get the installation running. pls help

you need to put them on a floppy - then press F6 during startup of the XP cd
if no floppy, you have to slipstream the driver in the XP install cd
The only other option, if it is available, is to disable the Native SATA mode in the BIOS. This can also be labeled as ACHI mode(disable it)
Ide mode(enable it)
This will allow XP to communicate with the BIOS and SATA controller without drivers, allowing you to see the hard drive.
In my opinion the F6 method posted by nobus is the preferred method, unless there is no floppy drive.

All this hints are looking good but:
1. on the support page of siemens/fujitsu there are a lot of drivers but no driver for sata
2. there is no floppy available
3. there is no option in the bios to disable native sata/achi mode, ide is enabled
4. to slipstream the driver i had to know which one
pls can you help me to find a sata driver which is working in xp environment
best regards
Heinz
is it still running Vista?  look then  in device manager and identify the controller and driver
then look for aan XP driver
you can also use SIW : http://www.lemonfiles.com/details.php?progid=9016
The Amilo's support USB floppy drives at boot.  If you have one available you can simply put the SATA drivers in there after hitting F6 and they should install with no problem.

I made it exactly as mentioned, but the driver was not xp compatible. I found also the original driver set for this PC but the same result (blue screen which links to disk driver problems after loading the drivers). At the end I gave up and installs vista pro without problems. For my understanding Fujitsu/Siemens has no migration path to xp and therefore no drivers available.
Nevertheless thank you for your help, best regards Heinz
