Excel 2007 crashing with ntdll.dll error

We have a Windows XP laptop with Office 2007.  Office is fully updated and patched.  However the end user is constantly experiencing Excel crashing with the following error in the log

Faulting application excel.exe, version 12.0.6535.5002, stamp 4bd2a7f1, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.5755, stamp 49901d48, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001aa21.

Any Ideas?

Can you describe the circumstances surrounding when the error occours?
Fr example - does it happen when opening the help file, or when saving the document, when opening a specific document, or at random times when not even doing anything... that sort of thing.

ASKER

Randomly when the user is working in excel, they normally have multiple documents open at once
Any luck with my previous link?

Matt
2toria - sorry that link didnt help, any other ideas...
Without knowing what the user is doing specifically before the application crashes, it's difficult to pinpoint it.  Have you tried 'repairing' the installation in add/remove programs?
Dear ,
try to repair the window not format

please see below the  web site as that step

i think your problem will be solve
tampatechman, what happened when you tried repairing OFFICE from add/remove programs?
Both repair and office diagnostics didnt address the issue.

Breaking it down ... what is ntdll.dll for and can it be repaced / updated?
