HP Procurve 2520 Switch
Hi
We have just installed a HP Procurve 2520G switch & configured it with 2 static VLANs.
IP address of the VLANs are 10.150.5.200 & 10.150.105.200.
We can ping the two vlan ip addresses & anything on the 10.150.5.0 network. This network is the main network at the site.
But we cannot see anything on the 10.150.105.0 network.
Here is the config of the switch:-
hostname "Procurve Switch 2520G-CTN-Off"
ip default-gateway 10.150.5.2
vlan 1
name "DEFAULT_VLAN"
untagged 21-24
no untagged 1-20
no ip address
exit
vlan 200
name "CTN-Alsco"
untagged 1-14
ip address 10.150.5.200 255.255.255.0
tagged 24
exit
vlan 300
name "CTN-Positek"
untagged 15-20
ip address 10.150.105.200 255.255.255.0
tagged 24
exit
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.150.5.2

Procurve Switch 2520G-CTN-Off#
There is a PC attached to port 18 on the switch, ip address 10.150.105.51 with default gateway 10.150.105.200.
Why can't we see the 10.150.105.0 devices?
Regards

You bet; all the information is here. I dug as deep as I could to ensure that no hardware upgrade existed; some vendors have a chip you can install to enable layer 3, but could not find nada:

How obvious! Was under the impression that it was layer 3.
Thanks for the quick response.
