SharePoint 2010 Customize "Insert Picture"
Hi All,
In a new SharePoint Team Site, I have these 8 document libraries:
When I Edit a page (like Home.aspx) and I click on the Insert tab from the Ribbon, then click on Picture --> From Computer, it prompts to browse to a picture and save to a document library (Upload To):
I want to be able to control what document libraries the user can see in the "Upload To" dropdown. Example: I want the user to be able to only see and select "Site Collection Images", instead of having so many document libraries to choose from.
Thanks.
Dave

Hey, sorry for the late reply.
The Suggested Content Browser locations actually helped with when you are inserting a picture from SharePoint. When you are browsing for a SharePoint resource, the suggested content browser locations will appear right at the top, hence making it easier for the user to look for the most commonly used resources set by the administrator.
However, it doesn't solve the problem of limiting the document libraries that are available to upload resources to (as shown in my screenshot). But I have found out that the only way to control what the user can see in this dropdown list is by configuring the correct permissions. The user will only be able to see the document libraries that they have contribute (write access) to.
Thanks anyway.
