iTunes Problem on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit English Version
I am using Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit English Version
I bought an iPhone and it requires me to connect to iTunes.
So I install iTunes64Setup.exe (version 10.3.1)
However, after installation complete, and iTunes started, but it said "“iTunes has stopped working”
I tried to uninstall and reinstall it for 3 times, but it still having the same problem.
I tried to disabled all startup and services in msconfig.exe as mentioned by the document in the Apple Support, and finally found out that iTunes can start running if iPod Service is disabled.
However, when I run iTunes, it said
I do not think iTunes is working properly.
Anyone encounters the same problem?
If yes, how do you fix it?
Is is because some of the Windows Update or Patches cause the iPod Service does not working properly?
Or is it because this version is still under beta? However, I cannot find other versions on apple.com
I really hope someone can help!
Thank you!

I turned off everything already, and disabled all services and startup.

Even I still can't find out the root cause, but how can I know the reason why the iTunes has stopped working?
Anywhere in Vista can tell me?

no solution provided.
thank you all of you!
I have reinstalled my OS
and install SP1.
Now is ok.
I think apple needs to fix the bugs in iTunes.
