Exchange 2003 / Exchange 2010 Send/Receive emails
With Exchange 2003, we have SMTP server that is used to SCAN emails.
If I understand Exchange 2010 uses the Edge server or the HUB server,
I wonder if we can install email SCAN software on the EDGE or the HUB server.
if so, then how and where do we configure in such a way if email is coming to or originating from Exchange 2003 it should go to SMTP server to get scanned before delivery and if email is coming to or originating from Exchange 2010 it should go to the Edge server or Hub server to get scanned before delivery.
Any help will be very much appreciated
Thanks

at least while there is Exchange2003/2010 co-existence, and later on when we get rid of Exchange 2003, we can either keep the existing SMTP server or install the Edge role.
