EMC VNXe LACP with a single switch
I have a client with an interesting situation.
They have a vnxe 3100 setup in a VMware esxi cluster all through the same switch.
Unfortunately it is a low end switch and they cant fund another one.
The question is should both ports on SPA and SPB be put into the same LACP or should they be put in separate ones.
I believe they have unique ip addresses on the same subnet for each SPA and SPB.
I realize this will only support failure of either the SP and does not provide for failure of the switch itself.
I think they need to be in separate LAGs but cannot find anything to support my decision.
Any help is of course greatly appreciated.
