When I was trying to setup the WiFi on this model wireless router. &nbsp;I wanted to set security to TKIP and the option was there in the drop down. &nbsp;The Netgear said &quot;we recommend AES&quot; and it noted that higher data throughput was not supported with TKIP. &nbsp;And then it would reset the setting to AES. &nbsp;It would not let me choose. &nbsp;So a couple of questions if I may - is it true that AES is required in order for N and/or AC data rates to be achieved? &nbsp;I hadn't heard this before. &nbsp;Secondly any thought how I could get the dern thing to submit to my will and use TKIP security?
