Load Balancing Mode - Netgear Router
Hello Experts
Can someone please advice what I am doing wrong as its not automatically connecting to the second connection on the network when the first goes down?
NETGEAR ProSafe Gigabit Quad WAN SSL VPN Firewall SRX5308
I have configured 2 WAN settings on the router - pls see attached.
Then on the WAN mode, I have selected the option "Load Balancing Mode - Weighted LB"
Then on the protocol binding page I have both Wan1 and WAN2 configured for ANY service..
However, in this case whichever WAN is on the last line, its only connecting to that connection and if that WAN is down its not switching the connection to another on the list..
I hope someone can advice me here?
Thanks
John

Hi Sumandan
Yes, that is correct.
That is exactly what I wanted to do, when one of them goes down, move the traffic over the working one.

Thanks - yes, that has worked!
I'm assuming you want to do outbound load balancing when both connections are on....But when one of them goes down, you want to move all the traffic over the one that is working....Correct?
