Can't edit embedded macro - command button in Access 2010

Hi There,

I have created some command buttons on a form in Access 2010, and when I tried to look at the procedures created by the button wizard, lo and behold, there was none. I have now figured out it has created embedded macros, which for the very simple tasks I'm carrying out is ok.

But when I click on the ellipsis button to edit the [Event Procedure], it just opens the VBA editor with a blank procedure - very confusing. To change the functionality of the button I have to delete the words [Event Procedure] then create a new embedded macro, or key in some code - or - delete the button and create a new one.

How might I look at the embedded macro so I can edit it ?

Any help is appreciated.

Best regards,

I was just creating the buttons using the wizard. The event for "on click" it did only say [event procedure] that's why I was expecting to see vba code-but there was none. And I couldn't see / get to any macros. The button was working correctly but I couldn't edit it's actions.
Deleting and recreating has worked. Thanks for helping me out on this one.
