Hi Experts<br />
We've been seeing an issue with the availability service on Exchange being extremely slow to bring back free/busy info for meetings where there are users in an external domain.<br />
THis seems to be fixed if we use cached mode, rather than online mode.<br />

I'm just wondering if there are any drawbacks to this?<br />

We have dedicated PCs, so no &quot;hotdesk&quot; scenarios where an entire mailbox would be downloaded (OST file) to multiple PCs.<br />

Cached Mode in Exchange 2010
