SBS Summary Network Report questions
I have these 4 errors this morning and wondering if I need to do anything about these, or, are they just hiccups and I can ignore them?
Windows Small Business Server 2008 208 8/20/2015 3:51:56 PM 1
Event Details:
The TCP/IP connection with the ''mail.contuso.com'' server was terminated while trying to access the ''cs'' mailbox. The cause may be server problems, network problems, a long period of inactivity, a connection time limit, or incorrect connection settings.
---this user is getting outside email and internal email.....we get this error occasionally and sometimes I find a user has a huge inbound email with a gigantic attachment that is causing all inbound mail to hang. That is not the case today and she is getting all her email.
Windows Small Business Server 2008 202 8/20/2015 3:41:56 PM 1
Event Details:
An error occurred while accessing the mailbox for user ''tayat'' on the POP3 server ''mail.contuso.com''. The error code was 0x800ccc0e. Verify that the server and account settings are correct, and that the internet connection is functioning properly.
---this user is also getting all her inbound email from outside and from internal, so wonder about this error...just ignore it?
Perflib 1010 8/20/2015 4:36:07 AM 1
Event Details:
The Collect Procedure for the "PolicyAgent" service in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\ipsec svc.dll" generated an exception or returned an invalid status. The performance data returned by the counter DLL will not be returned in the Perf Data Block. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the exception code or status code.
---I have not idea what this is. Everything seems to be functioning normally for all users...do I just ignore this one?

The POP3 is used due to have IMAP'd email folders on many users Outlook. The guy that set up Exchange 2007 set it that way, I think for using shared calendars (which we don't use) and I think for having IMAP capability?
