Cannot connect to Exchange Server 2013 using POP3 after Installing windows update on the machine running Exchange and restarted it

Can anybody tell me please the solution for this problem? Before i Installed the windows update running Exchange server 2013 and restarted it, the POP3 is working fine, some clients that are using POP3 to connect to exchange are not having any problems, until i installed the windows update on the machine (windows server 2012) running the exhcange, the problem started, one of the users is having an error message that says: "Sending of password for user user1 did not succeed. Mail server myserver responded: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password." I though it's the seamonkey email software that is having a problem, but i also performed a test on outlook and still having error.
Thanks for any help.

It solved my the issue. It is very important to check if all appropriate services are running on all Exchange servers on your environment.
