Send As Permissions

Hi all,

I have received request to give a few users 'Send As' permissions for an important company mailbox. The sensitivity of the issue is, you cannot tell who sends email from that shared mailbox. In case of any issue, is there any way or any rule to determine who sent a particular email from that shared mailbox ? Can we retrieve the username ? I know we can do it by logging it to the Outlooks of all the users who have access to it and check their Sent Items or Deleted Items but is there any way I can check it on the server ?

You can tracking those e-mails from your hub transport server, where you can find client IP and hostname of client. which will help you to know which system has generated this e-mail. by system you can track who has that computer.

One more thing depends on tracking log retention configured in your env. so keep in mind that one also.
