OK tried this patch.. but came back saying 'there are no products affected by this package installed on this system." :(

Did you do the update or disable the bluetooth add-in?

Then my first suggestion to update could have been the solution ;)
Suggest that you try to enable that add-in again to see whether you get the issue back, then we're sure what caused it.

the thing is. after removing the Bluetooth plugin PP was still crashing.
