Out Of Office Error.

I have a customer running Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2007. All of a sudden no one can set there out of office from outlook. We get the following message "Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later." The users are able to setup out of office from the OWA. I have attempted attempt a bunch of Microsoft's auto fixes thinking it was the individual machine. I also have recreated Outlook profiles and attempted many other solutions. I am pretty positive that this is a problem on the Exchange server. This started when I had to change the internal auto discover URL to exchange for my GoDaddy certificate to work.

I did remove the internal domain names from the certificate. The internal domain ends in .local and you are unable to create those types of certs anymore from company's like GoDaddy. I tested the ping to autodiscover.mydomain.com internally and had no reply. This made me think that I never added the DNS entry to point back to my exchange server. I have tested on one machine and it worked perfectly. I will test with a few other users and inform you if problem is solved.

This solution worked great. Thanks.
Correct, this has changed and. Local can not longer be used - just making sure this had been changed

glad to know you've sorted it :)
