I have a client with a database application he wants to look into selling. &nbsp;It's been pieced together over the years and definitely time for a re-write. I doubt I would be the one to do it, but in an effort to guide him, possibly into finding the right developer, I wanted get an idea of what the best programming languages would be for this. &nbsp;The data resides in an MS SQL database and we'd need a reporting engine (unless we could leave that to Access).<br />

C#? &nbsp;Does PowerBuilder still exist (and would anyone recommend it?) VB.Net, etc? &nbsp;What should be used?
