I'm using 8i and want to create the rman catalog for 8i.
What is the sql name to create the catalog. I thought it was catrman.sql, but it's not in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin.
Any ideas?

In schwertner's backup step 2 says configure sql*net to handle the catalog (rmancat) and the target database connection. How is SQL*Net configured?
