I'm trying to remove the spyware/malware Winfixer from a friend's computer. Running XP Home, all patched and updated.

Ok guys heres a good one. What gets rid of QUICKLY winfix? It adware? The company actually puts this garbage on and is very hard to get rid of it. I need a quick, permanent fix.

Everybody that I know has tried with hijackthis and hijackthis.de.
But after I reboot the machine the setup to install winfixer 2006 appears again.
