The purpose of this video is to demonstrate how to connect a WordPress website to Google
Analytics.

This will be demonstrated using a Windows 8 PC

Video Steps

1. Go to your WordPress login page. This will look like the following: mywebsite.com/wp-login.php

2. Go to Add Plugins under Plugins tab in the Dashboard sidebar.

3. Search for Google Analytics. Install and Activate Google Analytics plugin

4. Go to Google.com/analytics

5. Login or Create a new account.

6. Click on ADMIN tab on the top menu

7. Click on “Create New Account” and fill out the form (website name, URL, etc.) Submit Google User Agreement, and copy tracking code.

8. Go back to WordPress site ad click on Google Analytics in SETTINGS tab in WordPress dashboard. Paste tracking code into form.

9. Go back to WordPress site ad click on Google Analytics in SETTINGS tab in WordPress dashboard. Paste tracking code into form.
