No, you are not to blame. At EE is is normal that if 2 answers arrive at the "same" time, the first one is accepted. That's not unfair.

If you want to help, please tell me what is the difference between environ("Systemroot") and Environ("WINDIR") ?
WINDIR returns the folder where windows is installed, while SYSTEMROOT returns the root folder where \system and \system32 are. Now, while for me (and i guess for you) both values are actually the same, it could be that windows could have the system folders in some other place than under WINDIR.
For me, I use them in term of readability, so if i want to read or place a file in the windows folder, i use WINDIR...
