start up errors

My commputer is having problems! 5 actually.
Why do I keep getting error messesges
 & how can I correct this problem?
 
1)error starting program---A required .DLL file,C:\program files\common files\real\common\lot u3260.DLL,was not found
2)A required .DLL ws2_32
3)A Fatal   exception oe has occured at 014f:bff9a3co.
4)An error has occured in the script on this page line -40 char 3 error-syvtax error
5)This program has performed an illegal opperation and will shut down---(this comes up constantly)

I hope someone can help.
  p.s-----the screen freezes up alot also

Open computer and reseat memory
Check CPU fan is working correctly
Scan computer for virus
Reinstall software

Once you have ruled out hardware problems, (memory or overheating) then I would go this route.
With this many errors if this was my computer, I would backup all important files and then do a format and a clean install of everything you want installed
download startup cop at this url .. it will allow you to disable startup programs that may be causeing some of these errors  http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,77594,.html

also run scandisk  (start/programs/accessorys/sys tools/scandisk   check to auto fix errors )
if you have ie 5 or later installed go to control panal /add remove programs and select ie5  remove then repair
do a general cleanup .. delete temp ie files/ scandisk/defrag harddrive/ turn off screen saver / beat it with hammer :>)
