Its possible to reset the motherboard of a acer aspire 1520 notebook???
Cmos battery just tried! (for 20 min plug out)

there is a switch just over the keyboard (if i remember well)
you have to remove a plastic cover (might be snapped hard)
you will see a switch with at least 2-3 possible on/off (Actually 2-3 switchs)
you have to flip one, power on, then power off, and flip it to precedent state
i think it's the most right switch (can't remember it exactly)

I have tried to select and deselect all switches on/off; poweron/poweroff; cmos battery out for 20min!

Ok I have make this with the switches, but don't function!
I have tried again to connect the CRT monitor and the LCD monitor to the output VGA but nothing!

it's a monitor problem?
don't you have to install a software to manage the keyboard function to switch monitors?
the key should be FN with the little monitor drawing to switch monitor mode
but the managing soft must be installed (from original cd)

Maybe you should try to plug out the battery for longer.
