Is it possible to bulk/mass print a windows folder containing EXCEL files (using shell /.bat / vba/ vbs )
Hi EE,
I just received info from LHerrou on how to bulk print pdf files from a folder here:
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/24770409/Is-it-possible-to-bulk-mass-print-a-windows-folder-containing-pdf-files-using-shell-bat-vba-vbs.html?cid=1575&anchorAnswerId=25450309#a25450309
Suppose the folder had xls files. I could save xls as pdf and use LHerrou's solution...
Is there is a way to code a .bat file or script language to loop thru the folder and print ALL 200 xls
w/o the user doing manually?
Does EXCEL allow itself to be executed as command line with parameters for printing like
i'm making this up:
shell c:\program files\office\excel.exe "excel file name" -p (where -p would be to print)
Your advice is appreciated, tx, sandra

Pensare,
thx soo much for a thoughtful and detailed reply... w/o loading the software yet:
a) so the one page document should be added and the end of the batch list of pdf files
- or-
b) place all pdfs as batch list (round #1) click their "go" button
c) create a new batch list with one page (round #2) with new printer default settings
"click" their go button"

b)
and then
c)
is the right way to go.
And you can put excel files straight in there without PDFing them if you need too, same goes for word DOC files.
No probs....

tx for writing...
a) what is A3 color printing?
b) still not clear about:
Print one document with your favoured defaults
i did not download this product yet, but are you saying that I should print 1 document
and then... what to do next...
the default printer has changed to print-conductor so i would have to change the
default printer back to what it was by going to control panel/printers?
pls advise, tx, s
