Any way to configure the mirror from UI to use Asyc mode?

Today I just figure it out myself, that's exactly what I found out also and we are using standard edition.<br />
<br />
and I also surprise that we can only change the mode to Async once the DB is mirrored, but not before it is mirrored.

Anyone know, if I configure the SQL mirroring via UI, database properties windows, what mode is the mirror? Async or sync?<br />

It seem that I can't see any option like this in the UI when I set the mirror up.<br />
