Zoom field on form in Microsoft Access 2007
Hello:
Is there a way to have the contents of a field (on a form) zoom (so it is easier to read) if you mouse over or click it?
Thank you,

Thank you.
But is there any way to have the field "get larger" without the Zoom window box? In my mind I was thinking something like the user would just click on the field and it would "pop out" so it was more readable. Kinda like when you hit ctrl + or ctrl - when you are on a webpage.

Yeah, that would be cool.
I suppose there *might* be some clever way to do that, but I have not seen one.
It's possible you could tweak this:

... to grab the text in the box instead of a tool tip. You might take a look.

Very clever. This was what I was looking for. I agree with you about the "annoyance" factor. It was my thought when the user requested it. The field contains very lengthy and wordy regulations.
Thank you very much for the solution.

Great,
This was actually an interesting little question
;-)
The other consideration might be that you space the controls wider apart, so that a "Zoomed" control does not cover (or get hidden behind) another control.
(You can also investigate the "Bring to Front" and "Send To Back" functionality to work around this perhaps?...)

MX,
Yeah, again, this was an interesting little Q.
As most Q's on this involve creating a "Zoom Form" to zoom into an image...
At first I just made the Control bigger (as requested).
Then I thought, "ummm, that looks lame", so I added code to make the font bigger too.
;-)
