Mounting Windows 2003 network share on Linux Box using SAMBA.

Hi, I have had some difficulties getting a share mounted off a Windows 2003 Server to a Linux Box running Samba 2.2.

I found out that there is a difference in Windows 2003 server that requires Security Signatures, it is a reg key that has been there since the beginning of NT and always defaulted to off, but in Win 2K3 they decided to default it to on and require the security signature.

If I go into the 2003 Server regestery - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters\   and change the key - requiresecuritysignature- from a (1) to a (0) which disables it, then I can connect and mount the share without problems.

But, after a period of 4-8 hours they key on the Windows server changes itself back to a (1) enableing it and causing the share on the linux box to die.

So, my question is dose anyone know how to keep the key on the W2003 Server disabled?

Thx
